Vickie Terry, Executive Director of the NAACP Memphis Branch is a native of Memphis Tennessee where she graduated from Mitchell High School.  Ms. Terry graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications.  For fifteen years she was a successful fund development manager and major gifts leader for a Philanthropic Health and Human Service organization.  Vickie is Public Policy Chairperson of the Memphis Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and an alumni of leadership Memphis.  She is a member of the Vitalent Community Leadership Council and is on the Civilian Hiring Committee for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department.  She is the proud mother of Clarence Terry II (a graduate of the University of Memphis) and Victoria Terry (a graduate of Howard University) Vickie is an activist and change-maker fighting to dismantle the systemic racism and inequality embedded throughout our society.  She is well respected in her community as a committed leader and servant.
